BELMONT BOOM

   This virtual exhibit provides a look at the history of the WWI boomtown city of Belmont, located in modern-day North Little Rock, Arkansas. To fully understand the role the town played in Arkansas history, an explanation of how The Saint Joseph's Orphanage, Camp Pike, and WWI connect to Belmont is essential.
